Our school was set up with the mission of promoting Taijiquan as practised in its birthplace Chenjiagou. Grandmaster Chen Xiaoxing 陈小星

2nd Week September 2012

Chen Xiaoxing is the principal of Chenjiagou Taijiquan School in the Chen Village. Known as the 'Last Village Grandmaster' Chen Xiaoxing epitomises China's traditional family martial arts. Under his guidance a new generation of Chen Taijiquan teachers has emerged from Chenjiagou, the system's birthplace. He is the coach for our school's training trips to the Chen Village. His teaching style is spontaneous and rigorous. Although a hard taskmaster, he is open and approachable, providing invaluable input in the development of school members.

This is a great opportunity for students of Taijiquan of all levels to train with one of the best.

The seminar will cover different aspects of Chen Taijiquan, from the fundamentals (eg. Standing pole, Silk Reeling Exercises) to the dynamic Handform Laojia Erlu, and a Weapon form.
